Pole Painting

I have decided to use some of the branches I cut off the trees in our garden as artwork for my fence.



Armed with bits of left over paints I have been decorating these poles so I can set them along a VERY boring fence to give it a bit more character






 These are some of my works in progress. I make the base colourful and then I start to add finer details such as spots, spirals and circles.

   I just let myself paint freehand and made it up as I went along. I have noy yet finished but it is VERY therapeutic and I have really enjoyed myself so far.

    I totally LOVE these painted tree branches! Please post more about them as your project progresses. I know what you mean about making it up as you go and it being therapeutic. It kinda puts you in the "zone"! :)
