Decoupage Frames.....

I was given these round white pressed wood frames.............they were ugly!  I had them for over a year before  having a Eureka moment and deciding to cover them in odd bits of fabrics that I have over fromo other projects and also paper scraps and buttons etc..........

They are approx 85cm (33.5 ") with an opening in th middle of 70 cm (27.5")

I had two of them so played around a bit until deciding to place a mirro into one and a felt mosaic into the other. It was a lot of fun.

Using basic white school glue (PVA) and voila thats it.

Warm Doggy

I have made my first attempt at making a jacket for my friends dog.

Armed with only a measurment for the length of his back and the circumference of his chest I made this colourfully jazzy cotton lined fleece jacket.

The owner is happy with the outcome as am I. This is by no means a perfect jacket but hey it fits and he's warm so good result for 2 1/2 hours work :)

Hes quite an old guy.

Patchwork treasure chest

This is a work in progress. Its a small soft patchwork box all handmade by myself. Each panel is made seperately and then the box is assembled.

This is a unique one off item measuring approximately  5 " x 5.5". the lid is a styalised flower which is approx 8" x' 8"

This is a work in progress and I need to add a loop fastener and maybe some ''bun'' feet made from fabric balls, not exactly sure yet.

Martines Bag

This is my latest bag made especially for Martine. Her colour preferences were deeps reds, greens, mustards and golds. An ethnic flavour was also on the wish list.

BJs Bag

Here is another bag I have been making for a friend of mine. Fortunately she allowed me to do things in my own sweet way so the process was not too restraining. sometimes making something for someone you know can be more restrictive because I tend to worry and faff more because I don't want to produce something they don't like.

Anyhow here are the photos and BJ my friend seems to like it very much :0) making me a happy bunny.
