This one is make of quilted beige fabric that has a two tone flowerer pattern and a row of pretty lilac decorative fabric covered buttons. The cuff is further embellished with tiny sequin stars in silver and pink and a frivolous line of purple pompoms.
I love making and have a Bdes degree in Design. Here are the products of my evenings. I need to occupy my hands so sewing helps me to wind down after a days work. I find it therapeutic. I'm into all sorts of handmade crafts but I especially love recycled objects made into art. I'm always making something and usually more than one thing at a time as my mind becomes bored always working on the same thing so I jump from project to project.

Wrist cuff
I am busy making wrist cuffs because having experimented last winter I know that these little things can really keep you warm and stop draughts going up your sleeves.....

I made these two belt pouches from upcycled vintage indian fabric and added a few pretty decorations.
Each pouch is lined with navy blue patterned fabric.
The backs of the pouches
The pouches can hang from the belt or from the belt loops as two snap hooks are provided with each pouch

Funky brooches
Finally I got around to making something with the blank brooches I found.
Using felt spikes from a hair band and some sparkly Angelina fibers and some seed beads these are the results so far.......
Some of the brooches are 1 inch wide and some are 1.5 inches (2.5 cm /3.75cm)
Each spike differs in length but all are approx 4inches long (10cm)

Coin purse/ phone pockets
I have once again been busy making purses. These are simple coin purses but they are just as easy to use as a mini make up bag for in your handbag or as phone pockets. I have used new and recycled fabrics some of which are vintage!!!
They fasten with velcro and each has a tiny bell attached for use as an anti theft device.
