Fabric Streets and Houses

 

I use second hand frames found in charity or secondhand shops to frame fabric collages pictures. The pictures are made using second hand fabrics and old clothing

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Each picture developes randomly with no fore planning, I just play with the fabrics and colours until I think it looks right.

Sometimes whole streets appear and somtimes just single houses with a tree. The background fabric is sometimes incorporated into the picture too.

 

Patchwork treasure chest

This is a work in progress. Its a small soft patchwork box all handmade by myself. Each panel is made seperately and then the box is assembled.

This is a unique one off item measuring approximately  5 " x 5.5". the lid is a styalised flower which is approx 8" x' 8"

This is a work in progress and I need to add a loop fastener and maybe some ''bun'' feet made from fabric balls, not exactly sure yet.
